CZ100-300 Type Fully Automatic Purlin Roll Forming Machine

1. Equipment Components

Building upon a standard cold-roll forming line, the CZ machine incorporates core features such as a frame-swapping system and an angle-adjustable cutting system. The complete configuration is as follows:

1). Uncoiler: Supports large-diameter steel coils; equipped with motorized or non-motorized uncoiling capabilities and a damping braking system.

2). Hydraulic Leveling & Feeding Unit: Eliminates internal material stress and ensures the strip surface is flat before entering the forming zone.

3). Servo-driven Adjustable Punching System: Features adjustable multi-station dies, supporting rapid positioning and switching between elongated web holes (for C-sections) and flange overlap holes (for Z-sections).

4). Roll Forming Main Unit (Core Technology Zone):

Reversible Type (High-end): The entire arch-style frame is mounted on a large slewing bearing; a hydraulic drive enables ±180° rotation for instantaneous switching between C and Z roller systems (profile changeover time ≤ 15 minutes).

Slide-out Type (Economical): Two independent roller sets are mounted on a sliding base; changeover involves laterally sliding the sets out for replacement (time: approx. 2–3 hours), making it suitable for scenarios with fewer specifications and lower changeover frequency.

5). Hydraulic Angle-adjustable Cutting Machine (Key Differentiator): Unlike standard vertical shearing, the cutting blade assembly allows for angle adjustments (typically ±15° to 30°) to meet Z-purlin overlap requirements. This ensures the angled cut aligns precisely with the overlap gap, eliminating the need for on-site trimming during installation.

6). Fully Automatic PLC Control System: Features built-in independent process databases for C and Z sections; enables one-touch parameter recall and coordinated control of roll gaps, punching operations, and cutting angles. 

2. Standard Process Flow:

Uncoiling → Leveling & Feeding → Servo Punching → Multi-pass Roll Forming (C or Z profiles) → Adjustable-angle Miter/Straight Cutting → Finished Product Discharge

3. Core Technical Advantages

1). Highly Efficient and Flexible Switching Mechanism: Designed to handle the lipped edges characteristic of both C and Z profiles, the flip-style structure eliminates the need to dismantle heavy rollers; switching is achieved by rotating the entire frame assembly. This significantly reduces manual labor intensity, turning small-batch, multi-lot Z-profile custom orders into a source of high-profit growth.

2). Precision Miter Cutting for Overlapping Joints: An adjustable-angle hydraulic shear ensures smooth, burr-free mitered ends on Z-purlins. Factory calibration of the miter angle guarantees a joint gap of ≤1.5mm, completely eliminating issues such as bolt misalignment or uneven load distribution caused by cutting inaccuracies.

3). High Precision for C-Profiles: Despite the flip-style design, the forming section’s frame assembly achieves exceptional rigidity once the slewing bearing is locked. Consequently, the flange perpendicularity and lip profile quality of the produced C-purlins meet the standards of dedicated single-profile machines.
