When purchasing a roll forming machine, customers often consider price. So, how do manufacturers determine pricing? What factors influence the price of a machine? I've been in this industry for many years, and based on my experience, I'd like to briefly explain how to choose a cost-effective roll forming machine.
The factors that influence the price of a roll forming machine include:
- 1.The complexity of the machine. This refers to the complexity of the custom profile you require. More complex profiles require more complex roll forming machines, resulting in a longer production cycle, longer commissioning time, and more after-sales services.
- 2.The size of the custom profile. If the material is small, the roll forming machine required will also be smaller, with fewer rolls, a smaller overall machine size, and less steel and other configurations. This results in a relatively low price. However, as the size of the custom profile increases, the price will increase accordingly.
- The degree of integrated automation. This will also increase the machine's production cycle and commissioning time, and the number of parts required for the entire automated production line will increase, thereby increasing the price of the entire machine.
- Your requirements for workpiece precision and surface quality. The higher these requirements, the higher the precision of the roll forming machine required, and the more complex the production process. For example, if you need to produce rollers with high surface quality requirements, the processing time, polishing, and chrome plating will vary, which will increase the production cost of the rollers.
- After-sales service costs are usually determined by the complexity of the machine and are calculated in advance by the manufacturer. The more complex the machine, the higher the manufacturer's estimated after-sales service costs. All of these factors will affect the price of the roll forming machine. Therefore, before ordering cold roll formingequipment, you should provide the manufacturer with detailed requirements based on these factors so that the manufacturer can provide a better price and better service.
