How to Maintain the Hydraulic System of a Double-Layer Roll Forming Machine

  1. The oil tank level should be above the centerline of the oil level line to prevent the oil pump from removing impurities through the air filter during refueling.
  2. Do not arbitrarily increase the pressure.
  3. The operating oil in the double-layer roll forming machine's oil tank is No. 20 anti-wear hydraulic oil. When the ambient temperature is below 10°C, use No. 10 anti-wear hydraulic oil. When the ambient temperature is above 40°C, use No. 68 anti-wear hydraulic oil. Do not substitute other oils.
  4. The normal operating oil temperature is 20-50°C. If the oil temperature is too high, take cooling measures (add cooling water or use an electric fan) or stop the pump. Wait until the oil has completely cooled before reusing it. If the oil temperature is too low, do not use it directly and heat it. External heating can be used to increase the temperature.
  5. Keep the hydraulic oil clean and free of impurities and moisture. If used frequently, the oil filter should be cleaned monthly, and the oil tank should be cleaned and replaced every six months.
  6. When starting the double-layer roll forming machine motor, the reversing valve must be placed in the center position to prevent motor overload.
  7. When using hoses, avoid folding or bending them. Never get too close to the hoses to prevent sudden breakage and injury.
  8. If the hose pressure falls below 1.25 times the rated pressure, or if there are signs of leakage or aging, discontinue use and replace with a new hose.
  9. Perform a thorough cleaning annually. Use light diesel or kerosene to clean all components of the double-layer roll forming machine, and ensure proper panel protection.
